It is hard to tell from these pictures how huge this garden really is! Dad's ward decided it would be a good idea to do a community garden this year. One of the members donated his land for use out by the rodeo grounds.
Dad recycled some old pipe from the pig farm for sprinklers and irrigation. The ward purchased the rest.
They've planted corn, tomatoes, beets, peppers, squash, peas, and red potatoes. Anyone in the community is invited to come and help maintain and all will benefit from harvest.
Dad and Mom have spent a lot of time and energy getting things going and making sure everything gets done. Even Chad and Wade help out a ton and have learned all about gardening!!
